Single Leg Dynamic Stability
Do you have Explosive Power AND Control? Being able to produce force is important, but you need to control it too… —– 🔹Single leg exercises are great for exposing muscle weakness and balance deficits! 🔸This exercise tests your strength and balance during a more explosive movement. This one is great for all my runners 🏃 , sprinters, football players 🏈, etc… 🔹Set up a box or bench about knee height and perform an explosive single leg step up. ✔️Can you pause at the top while keeping your trunk, hips, and ankle stable?? 🔸Try a few reps on each side and take note of where you feel unstable, and if one side is more difficult than the other. 🔹This is a test of your stability, but can also be a great exercise choice to improve both your strength and control. ✔️Try it out and let me know how you do!!
